How's About A Smile

I received a phone call from my daughter yesterday and she asked me an exciting question. She said have you ever just picked your bible up and been excited and overjoyed that you had it. And then I received a sweet email from my sister this morning and it was about Natural Highs (things that make you happy or make you smile.) In this world filled with so much ungodliness sometimes you find so little to smile about and I am so grateful for people such as my daughter and my sister who have the ability to make me smile with such beautiful thoughts. I was especially overjoyed by my daughter who at twenty-two years of age has a love for the Word of GOD! I knew exactly what she meant because there have been times when I have picked up my bible embraced it and realized I was actually holding the WORDS of GOD! What a powerful thought and most importantly you have to know what is in the bible in order to be excited about it and by GOD’s grace my daughter knows what’s inside it and appreciates it and so do I. I pray that you all have people in your lives that make you smile and even laugh. Yesterday I went to pick up one of my wee little Sisters-in-Christ to take her and my son to a book club party and when I drove up she had on reindeer antlers and a reindeer nose that lit up! I laughed so hard I was revived. Earlier that morning I was feeling rather out of sorts and a tad bit tired and just plain Blah! But my little friend gave me the boost I needed to get revived and I must say it was much healthier than caffeine.

Let us rejoice in the LORD always, Let us be glad that this is the day that the LORD has made. Let us be satisfied with all the goodness of GOD and all the blessings that the righteous receive of HIM.

“O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.”

Hi, Sister Tammy:

thank you for that apt message on UNITY. This is a biblical subject near and dear to my heart. While "world peace" will never fully be achieved on earth, all of us in the body of Christ must at least continue to make the effort to demonstrate the peace of Christ in our lives by walking in the unity of His Holy Spirit. May the Lord continually bless you as you share His word to those of us hungry for Him.

Do You Know CHRIST as your LORD and SAVIOUR?

This is THE most important question that you will ever have to answer in your entire life. The answer to this question will determine your destination for ALL Eternity!! And what's even more astounding is whether you make the choice or not it will be made for you in the end. This may be harsh but it is a hard fact and a reality. When Christ came to die on the Cruel (Glorious ) Cross at Calvary this too was an extremely harsh cruelty that the LORD had to suffer for our Sins. Romans 5:8 says, " But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 1:18 says, "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;" The LORD is telling us that we know that HE is GOD whether we want to acknowledge Him or Not." The Word of GOD says in Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." We have been given the opportunity to be spared from the effects of sin that we all suffer in our lives, we have been given the power of GOD unto Salvation by the Mercy of the Cross. I ask you today what are you going to do with the blood that was shed for your soul? Jesus is The Way, The Truth and The Life (John 14:6.) This is just a very small testimony of the Word of GOD, but just enough to ask the Question. The choice is ours and it always has been, even from the beginning of creation. Now that we have the way to a peacable life with God now and forever more, the question is, What Are You Going To Do? I pray that if you do not know Christ as your LORD and SAVIOUR that you seek Him today, while we are still in the age of GRACE. May the LORD Bless each reader and touch the heart of the scoffer to yield to His will.

What's New

I am currently doing a weekly bible study on "The Pilgrim's Progress" by John Bunyan and it has been such a tremendous blessing. This is a story that has been read for hundreds of years, but as we have entered into this new age of lacks Christian values and common language this book has lost its appeal. Some find Pilgrim's Progress too tedious or difficult to read, but I assure you if you read this book with your spiritual eyes wide open you will see that the LORD inspired Bunyan to address our Christian journey in an extremely unique way.

Pilgrim's progress is packed with scripture from beginning to end and is filled with all of the worldliness and deceptiveness that Christians will encounter along the way of this life. I would encourage you to read this book for spiritual growth and the bible will be great companion as you read it.
