The New 12 Days of CHRISTMAS the Bible Way

As I was feeding this morning on the Word of GOD the LORD list a fire within me and I looked at this passage with new eyes again. As many times as I have read Proverbs year after year, it never fails that the LIFE in GOD's WORD is ever growing inside me. His Word will do the same to anyone who is so inclined to search the scriptures. Today I wanted to share with you some thoughts on the first 12 verses of Proverbs 3, O to able to live a life according to the scriptures is to have a life filled with the length of long days, long life and peace.

I pray that as each day of the Christmas Cheer draws closer to the 25th that you will be ever desiring to add to your days all that is written in GOD Words and here in these short, powerful packed verses you will find the answers and the issues of LIFE. AMEN!!

1My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

2For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

3Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

4So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

5Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

7Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

8It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

9Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:

10So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

11My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:

12For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

Amen I pray that you have a very Blessed Christmas in the LORD as we endeavor to honor HIM by living in and through HIS Word.

Blessings All !!!

  1. Amen! The Proverbs are indeed full of might and power! As I prayed this morning, I was delighted to find myself simply thanking the Lord for all His many gifts, kindnesses, and mercies. I didn't ask Him for anything...didn't complain about anything...didn't even give Him any advice. I simply thanked Him for everything that came into my mind. And I have to say that I felt better than I had in some time. He tells us to be grateful, thankful, and remember all in prayer. Today I will rejoice! - Louise

Remember as you submit your comments think of the following scripture:

That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works. Psalms 26:7
